AUDUBON ENGINEERING OPERATIONS LLC Operations Manager, Water Solutions in Houston, Texas
This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Audubon Industrial Services manufacturing activities in support of the Water Filtration group, including managing staff and equipment resources as required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
- Manages manufacturing and maintenance operations to ensure the safe and timely completion of production schedules by effectively utilizing people, equipment and materials.
- Ensure that project invoicing is completed correctly and timely.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of standard work practices/processes and employee training programs to ensure quality services and work products.
- Provide professional highly skilled direction to the staff while managing and executing projects.
- Support the business in the development and execution of the strategic business plan and ongoing marketing and business development efforts.
- Support the business in developing and achieving Audubon Field Solutions strategic business plan.
- Participate in joint marketing meetings with other Audubon affiliates; active involvement in business development calls, as appropriate.
- Coordination of proposal and estimate activities with Audubon affiliates and clients.
- Coordination of proposal and estimate activities with internal resources including review/approval, as required.
- Identify resource needs; recruit and interview personnel.
- Coordination of development/training activities for personnel.
- Responsible for running weekly staffing/planning meeting.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures, as required.
- Responsible for overall project QA/QC, including coordination of project audits as appropriate.
- Work with accounting resources to ensure the timely preparation and correctness of invoices.
- Accountable for downtime (billable vs. non-billable) within the managed group.
- Serve as Project Manager on one or more active projects; responsibility for project deliverables.
- Be prepared daily to assist local clients in the field on an on-call basis including the appropriate attire for field services. This includes but is not limited to your vehicle, steel toed boots, fire resistant clothing, hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, and earplugs.
- Maintain planning for and schedule of manpower and equipment.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prefer deep experience with Water Filtration throughout the United States.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience with at least 10+ years in a pipeline field service management or project management role.
- Extensive experience overseeing pipeline field service activities.
- Must be detail oriented with effective organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
