[FOX 26 HOUSTON is seeking a digitally-minded reporter who is passionate about breaking news and breaking stories of interest to our community on-line and on-air. This candidate must have excellent writing abilities for on-air stories as well as for writing AP style web copy. This candidate must be a self-starter and possess strong story-telling skills as well as be creative in their presentation. Must possess excellent live on camera reporting and interviewing skills in breaking news and other unscripted situations.

**[Minimum Requirements [Minimum 2-5 years on-camera experience in a medium or major market preferred. Bachelors degree required; journalism or a related field preferred. Must possess excellent on camera reporting, interviewing and writing skills. Must have strong on-camera live reporting ability in breaking news and other unscripted situations. Accuracy in reporting and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines is required. Ability to shoot and edit stories for air preferred. Strong computer skills and knowledge of I-News preferred. Ability to disseminate crowd-sourced material while maintaining newsroom standards for fact-checking information for air and digital platforms. Candidate must be able to work flexible hours/shifts/shows; early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays may be required. Must have a valid credit card and driver's license.
