Mechanical Engineer Drafter

RESPONSIBILITIES:**

• Develops design concepts and sketches into 3D models and drawings using Solidworks.
• Provides Mechanical Engineering drafting and design support to assess, develop, and/or modify tools and equipment used or sold by the company.
• Revises drawings as needed and maintains the drawing database.
• Creates part numbers and bills of materials for record keeping.
• Creates detailed work instructions and equipment operating manuals.
• Collaborates with members of manufacturing in a design/manufacturing environment.
• Designs with emphasis on safety and in accordance with API, ANSI, ISO, and other applicable industry standards.
• Assist with documents in Quality Control.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Solidworks: 2 years (Required)
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience with 3D models and drawings.
