Do you have experience repairing, maintenancing, & inspecting Chassis? If yes, then we want to talk to you. We are in need of a chassis mechanic to work, repair, and inspect chassis for cargo trailiors. We are looking to fill this position immediately so be prepared to speak to your experiences in an interview if you meet the qualifacation. Look forward to speaking with you!

Responsibilities

Position Overview: A mechanic is responsible for preparing chassis for proper and safe operation. They will assist in performing preventative maintenance work through inspection and servicing of chassis components, holding performance testing, and replacing defective chassis components.

Important Job Functions

· Thoroughly inspects chassis to detect any malfunctions or damages to components.

· Uses all of the proper tools, designated by the company, to successfully complete any tasks given

· Reads job order to determine a plan of repair

· Confirms that all equipment and any service provided is in proper functioning order

· Reports any issues in a timely manner to the proper personnel/supervisor

· Communicates with all employees in a professional manner on a consistent basis

· Follows the proper safety policies and procedures while completing any given tasks

The essential functions of this role include:

  • wearing steel toe shoes

  • working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
