Job Description:

Under minimal supervision with general autonomy, ensures the effective performance of all activities associated with logistics work for an EPC project. Effectively plans, organizes, creates contracts, manages the logistics processes and work methods. Manages personnel engaged in the coordination and execution of logistics services. Interfaces with internal and external customers to ensure customer expectations are being achieved. Responsible for the performance of the project logistics activities. Prepare, execute and be responsible for the project logistics budget. Maintain relationships and communication with transportation providers Manages subordinate personnel in the proper understanding and usage of discipline specific systems, policies and procedures. Promotes Zero Harm culture with vendors, clients, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Experience working in or with Saudi Arabia

  • Candidate will have managed the logistics activities of at least one large scale EPC project, from start to finish.

  • Performed FEED (or similar) activities for large scale EPC projects

  • At least 10 years of experience in logistics activities for EPC projects, including the management of containers and breakbulk ocean freight, domestic transportation, heavy haul, customs clearance and the commercial management of a logistics budget.

  • International and domestic travel may be required for this position.

Preferred

  • Managerial experience in large scale chemical EPC projects

  • Saudi Arabia Customs Process Knowledge

  • Oversight of EPC contractor logistics program

  • An undergraduate degree in Maritime Administration, logistics, supply chain, business or related field
