Hunton Rental Solutions (https://www.hrsrental.com/) is seeking to hire a Rental Account Manager to help expand our business in the greater Houston area. This position is responsible for selling HVAC, Power, and Compressed Air rental equipment to existing, dormant, and new customers by developing relationships and solutions for temporary utility needs. Additionally, this position will be expected to manage accounts to meet revenue budgets in line with division goals by cold calling, generating quotes, closing deals, and working with operations team to ensure customer needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent HRS as a leader in the rental industry to customers within the assigned territory in the Bryan and College Station area.

  • Utilize marketing, CRM and face-to-face customer skills to prospect and qualify leads for existing and dormant accounts, competitor accounts and new customers.

  • Respond quickly to leads and qualify customers and project viability.

  • Grow existing customer base within the region.

  • Attend sales meetings with management to review monthly sale activity and progress.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of account activity, customer information, and requests.

  • Occasional travel required including potential for overnight travel.

    Qualifications:

  • Possess a "Serving the Customer" attitude

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work well in both team and individual settings

  • Good communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to close deals

  • Self-started and self-motivated.

    Requirements:

  • Knowledge of rental industry and/or equipment preferred

  • 4-year college degree in related field with at least 2 or more year of related experience OR 2-4 years of related Rental sales experience

  • Experienced in working in the Bryan College Station area is PLUS.

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills

  • Solid computer skills

  • Able to convert leads and close accounts.
