Direct and develop the daily operations of the China Star restaurant. Hire and fire employees, and createschedules for kitchen manager positions, sushi Chefs, and front-of-the-house managers. The GM hasadministrative duties as assigned by the proprietor. These duties include running audits via business software,scheduling service or regular maintenance for appliances, bathroom, and ceiling fixtures, inspecting the parkinglot for damage, and ensuring outdoor lights work, and collects money for deposit from registers at the end of theshift. The GM has HR duties including employee grievances and granting vacation. The GM reports directly tothe proprietor.
