About the Role:

As a Maintenance Manager, you will lead a small team of Texas Maintenance staff, as well as managing and coordinating our contractors and outside vendors for general maintenance support of the facility and related equipment. We will rely on you for preventative maintenance and repair of all types of specialized equipment in the plant.

The position has been posted in several locations for marketing purposes but just one role is available. This position is a fully on-site position in Nederland, TX working 1st shift hours with some overtime and weekends as business needs require.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in corrective and preventative action practices as it relates to product quality, plant safety, environmental and DOT compliance

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within the budget

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/contractors

  • Create and maintain proper project documentation

  • Outline a budget based on the project requirements while tracking the costs to deliver on budget

  • Develop and manage the CAPEX plan

  • Prepare detailed project plans to schedule project deadlines/milestones

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a maintenance program

  • Manage strategic operations projects

Are you qualified?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred; environmental management systems; quality management systems; hazardous waste operations and response; hazardous material transportation regulations; additional management level training

  • 2 - 5 years of Industrial Facility Management/Supervisory Experience required

  • Working knowledge of valves, pneumatics, boilers, RO systems, pumps, and plant operations required; prior experience in Chemical Manufacturing ideal

  • Demonstrated successful project management experience required

  • ISO 9000/2000; ISO 14000; HAZWOPER; 29 CFR OSHA; 49 CFR DOT a plus

  • Willingness to be on call for unexpected plant issues and work during shutdown hours on repairs and upgrades as business needs require
