JOB  SUMMARY

Are you looking for an entry-level position in manufacturing? We are hiring entry level Assemblers/Electronic Wirers who will fabricate and assemble electrical systems and support structures. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND  RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures.

  • Adjust, repair, or replace component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.

  • Read and interpret schematic drawings and work orders to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.

  • Connect electrical wiring between components according to the wiring print, specification sheet, and Bill of Material.

  • Measure and cut wire to accurate length.

  • Mark and tag components so that inventory can be tracked.

  • Prepare finished product for shipping by packaging and touching up paint, etc.

  • Assist in loading product, if required.

  • Perform ongoing housekeeping duties to keep work area clean and orderly.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Equipment Used:  Hand tools such as screwdrivers, strippers, crimpers, tape measure, etc.

  • Certification required : Ability to obtain and maintain fork truck license if required.

  • Skills:   Able to learn to read tape measure and electrical point-to-point prints.

  • Education/Experience:   High school diploma or equivalency (GED) preferred, but not required.

  • Language Skills:   Able to read and comprehend somewhat complex instructions. Able to write notes or simple correspondence. Able to effectively communicate information to coworkers.

  • Attendance Requirement:   Requires regular attendance during scheduled shift and overtime when required.

     

    Work Environment:  Industrial manufacturing environment with loud noise level. Facility is enclosed and is ventilated and heated. Safety toe shoes, safety eyewear, required.  Gloves, face-shield, and other PPE as needed will be provided.
