Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Life Insurance Paid time off Full Job Description The NON- CDL Glass/Glazing Delivery Driver position is a multi-faceted role that is responsible for material deliveries to/from jobsites and to/from the warehouse locations. The position requires regular handling of heavy glass and aluminum products as well as consumable goods. A qualified candidate will possess the knowledge and physical capabilities to safely handle the materials and reconcile the paperwork associated with each transport. Candidate must be trained/skilled in securing loads, pre-trip inspections and basic knowledge of vehicle and trailer load limits. This is NOT a box truck delivery position and does require regular team/ heavy lifting. This position requires knowledge and experience with pulling and parking trailers. Position responsibilities: Load/unload rack trucks, flatbeds, and light duty pickups with glass, aluminum and consumable goods Secure loads as required Deliver materials to destination safely and on time Safety and pre-trip inspections of all equipment Vehicle maintenance, cleaning and record keeping Coordinate with field crew members and office staff for daily delivery scheduling Process thorough and complete material requests, packing lists and delivery tickets with accuracy, obtain signatures and return paperwork to office daily Identify and record cases of broken, defective, scratched and/or damaged material Report delivery issues to supervision in a timely manner Process incoming consumable materials by stocking materials and recording inventory levels Maintain all necessary compliance with DOT, OSHA and company safety standards Must be adaptative to working in a warehouse or field environment if necessary Must be flexible for scheduling which may include early morning/late night deliveries due to job site constraints.
