Vital Link is looking to add an Detailer/Drafter to the Team. Atec is located in Sealy, Texas.

You must submit a resume to be considered for the Drafter position.

Duties

Provide complete shop details of all fabricated members with a complete bill of materials, including a list of field fasteners and miscellaneous items using the applicable system of marks and sheet numbers.

If during the detailing process and changes to the design are identified which may benefit the fabrication or construction process, discuss these with the detailing manager for possible action. Assist the Engineering Manager as required to submit Request for Information (RFI) or variances including required sketches, drawings, or calculations.

Admin work as required.

Make final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.

Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.

Make any adjustments or changes on pencil drawings as required.

Draw charts for representation of statistical data.

Draw finished designs from sketches.

Preferred

Experience with Solidworks.

Experience with Auto Cad.

Experience working in an Aerospace company.
