Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Desktop Support Technician to join our construction client. This is a 6 month Contract to Hire role located 100% on site in Houston, TX. This role will be responsible for windows imaging, software installs, printer installs, AV support in conference rooms, shipping equipment, new hire equipment set ups, and more. Additionally, they will use the Service Now ticketing system and work on 30+ tickets per week on average. Soft skills such as customer service, communication, responsibility and ownership of your work, and ability to research, troubleshoot, and problem solve will be important for this position. The right candidate should want to learn and grow with the company long term.

Skills and Requirements

* 1-2 years of desktop support experience working on tasks such as windows imaging, software installs, printer installs, new equipment set up, AV set up, and general troubleshooting

* Experience using a ticketing system such as Service Now or similar ticketing system

* Experience with Windows 10, Teams, Zoom, Webex, and both hardware and software experience

* Soft skills

- Clear and direct communication

- Customer service skills to build relationships

- Responsible, driven, and organized

- Willingness to learn, research, problem solve, and trouble shoot solutions null
