Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Database Developer in Houston, Texas. The role involves providing technical support and application software development services for a defined project. The Database Developer will be expected to develop program logic for new applications, modify and analyze existing application logic, and maintain software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills

• Develop program logic for new applications and modify existing application logic

• Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications

• Provide application software development services or technical support for a defined project

• Assume responsibility for key system design and integration decisions around tools, processes, and practices enabling teams to apply DevOps practices

• Manage code and dependencies in Microsoft Azure, GIT along with other Configuration management best practices

• Configure code repositories, pipelines, and releases in Azure DevOps

• Manage Azure resource management using ARM templates, Terraform templates, and Azure APIs

• Provide technical operational support of .Net implemented solutions

• Maintain and enhance system availability, performance, and functionality

• Develop ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC and Restful APIs using C# and .NET Framework

• Analyze and debug production incidents.

Skills:

• Proficiency in C# - Sharp, .NET, and Microsoft Azure

• Experience in managing code and dependencies in Azure DevOps, GIT

• Knowledge of developing ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, and Restful APIs

• Experience in configuring code repositories, pipelines, and releases in Azure DevOps

• Experience with Azure resource management using ARM templates, Terraform templates, and Azure APIs. Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Developer.

• Proficiency in C# - Sharp is required.

• Experience with .NET is essential.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is crucial.

• The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices is required.

• The ability to write clear code and comprehensively document procedures is needed.

• The candidate must be able to work effectively in a team and autonomously.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

• The candidate should hold a relevant degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Knowledge of data management and visualization techniques would be an advantage.

• The candidate should be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.

• The ability to understand front-end users' requirements and a problem-solving attitude are required.

• Experience with performance tuning of database systems is a plus.
