Description We are recruiting for a Data Analyst for a leading manufacturing company located in Houston, Texas. The role involves a master data cleanup project requiring exceptional excel skills, data analytics, and a strong understanding of pricing. This position provides a contract employment opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex data sets and convert them into information that can drive business decisions

• Utilize various databases and develop strategies for data cleanup

• Apply advanced Excel formulas for data manipulation and analytics

• Compile, organize and interpret data reports

• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data

• Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to ensure data integrity and accuracy

• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders

• Develop and implement databases for data collection and data analytics

• Ensure data strategies and architectures are in regulatory compliance

• Continually develop data management strategies to improve existing procedures and propose solutions to enhance data reliability and quality. Requirements • Possess a strong understanding of Database management and maintenance.

• Proficient in data analytics with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Demonstrated expertise in Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in compiling data from various sources and presenting it in a comprehensible manner.

• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry and its key data metrics.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business Administration.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
