Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller based in Dayton, Texas. This role calls for a candidate who is skilled in various accounting functions and systems, such as ERP solutions, ADP - Financial Services, and DCAA. As a Controller, you will be tasked with overseeing the financial activities of our organization, ensuring accurate reporting, and contributing to financial strategy development.

Responsibilities:

• Review monthly closing to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare management reporting to provide insightful information for decision making.

• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the company's financial performance.

• Review financial statements and filing reports to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Ensure accurate payroll journal entries are made and reviewed.

• Review Value Added Tax (VAT) returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Review sales invoices to ensure correct billing.

• Analyze expenses and revenues to identify trends and make recommendations.

• Assist management in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial decision making.

• Monitor all budgets for assigned business units to ensure financial targets are met.

• Implement transfer pricing policy to align with company's financial strategy.

• Provide advice to management on various matters such as investments and equipment acquisitions.

• Participate in relevant financial improvement projects and other initiatives to improve the company's financial performance.

• Review balance sheet specification to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Manage the assistant controller(s) to ensure efficient operation of the finance department.

• Contribute to defining the group level policies and procedures to improve financial operations.

• Ensure compliance to group policies and procedures within the Finance area of the assigned business unit.

• Manage the financial audit of the assigned business unit to ensure transparency and compliance.

• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned by manager or supervisor.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is a must.

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with Accounting Functions is needed.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
