Business Development Coordinator (1100)Aramco Trading Americas Houston, TX - Full Time 

Position Overview:

  • The Business Development Coordinator will support origination and business development of the Latin America and Caribbean market for Aramco Trading’s Crude, Feedstocks and Clean Products business in the Americas. The role will support efforts to develop new commercial opportunities and expand existing business lines across Latin America and the Caribbean across the barrel.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of relationships with commercial partners and NOCs, and SOEs in Latin America and the Caribbean.

  • Build and apply knowledge of Latin America government trade and shipping accords, the competitive landscape, and broader market trends and factors.

  • Coordinate with market analytics to track and communicate Latin America tenders and global flows to/from Latin America.

  • Coordinate with legal, tax, finance, and credit on the enablement of Latin America counterparties.

  • Identify and implement business development opportunities and evaluate business case and economics across multiple dimensions.

  • Coordinate and partner with both affiliates and internal stakeholders across trading, shipping, legal, tax, finance, and credit.

  • Participate in global business development team coordination and planning.

     

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • 3+ years of experience working in origination and/or business development in supply and trading organizations.

  • Exposure to the Latin America market whether government trade and shipping accords and/or to the competitive landscape, and broader market trends and factors.

  • Commitment to collaboration and creativity when exploring commercial opportunities.

  • Determination and willingness to develop customer relationships.

  • Self-driven, team player, strong customer orientation

  • Fluent in Spanish (Fluency in Portuguese not required but desired).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

  • Ability to work in an office environment located in downtown Houston, TX
