Billing Coordinator- Houston, TX

Intertek is searching for a Billing Coordinator to join our Asset Integrity Management (AIM) team in our Houston/Clear Lake, TX office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Industry Services!

The Billing Coordinator is primarily responsible for the payroll and client invoicing functions. We’re looking for somebody with a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting in a medium sized company ($40-$ ­ 60 million annual dollar volume).

What you’ll do:

  • Collect weekly timesheets of employees assigned to specific clients.

  • Reconcile employee timesheets with client gate log information.

  • Enter payroll timesheet and field job ticket data into MAS accounting software.

  • Generate client invoices for assigned clients.

What it takes to be successful in this role:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting in a medium sized company ($40-$ ­ 60 million annual dollar volume).

• Familiarity with MS Office applications including spreadsheet and word processing software.

• Overall knowledge of timesheet reconciliation and invoicing. Familiarity with MAS accounting software is a plus.

• Must possess the senses of sight, hearing, and have excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Must have excellent grammar and a good understanding of standard business writing formats.

• The normal workday will be from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. However, the hours may be longer when specific payroll timesheets are due, thus some extended hours/schedule may be necessary.
