Dealer Integrated Services Automotive Interior Repair Technician in Houston, Texas

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Interior Repair Technician to join our team at one of our multiple locations in Houston, Texas. The Interior Repair Technician will be responsible for employing advanced techniques such as color matching, dye mixing, and texture replication to seamlessly repair rips, tears, and burns in automotive interiors. Working in close collaboration with dealerships, you will play a pivotal role in not only delivering high-quality repairs but also in cultivating and maintaining strong, enduring relationships. If you have a proven track record in automotive interior repair and are looking for a stable and fulfilling opportunity that doesn't require extensive prospecting, then this position could be an ideal match for your skills and experience.

Responsibilities: 

  • Receive automotive inventory and review preapproved interior work 

  • Inspect vehicle interior to ensure that no damages were overlooked 

  • Properly repair rips, tears, and burns and remove stains 

  • Partner with additional departments as applicable to ensure customer satisfaction 

  • Maintain company-provided tools and additional equipment per company standards 

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in automotive interior repair 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older 

  • Must have a checking/savings account or pay card with routing numbers for direct deposit 

  • General understanding of automotive details and features. 

  • Ability to sit, bend, squat, and hold various positions for long periods of time 

  • Strong communication skills 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and set deadlines 

  • Ability to work well with multiple departments 

  • Motivated, personable team player with a superior work ethic 

  • Ability to operate manual transmission is a plus.

Pay is commission based on experience.
