EOG Resources, Inc. Audit Coordinator in Houston, Texas

Provide executive-level administrative support to the Internal Audit team. The position requires a dependable, detail-oriented individual with the ability to work in a high-paced environment while planning and scheduling tasks and ensuring efficient, accurate and timely completion. Will be required to: Interact with all levels of management. Maintain the security of confidential information. Assist with Audits on EOG by scheduling audits, coordinating information requests, and downloading well documentation. Work with division personnel when documentation is not available in EOG apps. Assist with working on Vendor Audit Program by downloading invoices and Master Service Agreements. Work with division personnel to obtain vendor contact and pricing information. Correspond with vendors during audit authorization process. Participate in the execution of division and headquarters audit work program and in company SOX 404 testing requirements (internal controls over financial reporting). Requires high-level of familiarity and comfort with various IT systems/platforms and user apps. Will be required to maintain internal databases. Have a high level of familiarity and comfort with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong PowerPoint skills a plus. Level of experience should be advanced in all platforms.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5 years administrative experience required; oil and gas experience preferred Strong collaboration, organization, planning, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management, clients, and personnel Attention to detail with ability to prioritize work assignments as required Capacity and interest in working in a team environment while also being proactive and self-motivated and able to work well independently Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook/Calendar, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Experience with database maintenance and exporting reports from online databases Familiarity with general internal audit issues High school diploma or GED is required Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
