We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of SAP MM Advisor within IT group based in Houston, Texas.

As an SAP MM Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our business streamline their materials management processes, optimize inventory, and increase efficiency. Your responsibilities will involve configuring SAP MM modules, gathering business requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation. You will also be leading IT MM projects that will introduce new technology to our business.  

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing SAP MM:
    • Work closely with upper management to understand their business requirements.
    • Design and implement solutions that align with business needs.
  • Configuring SAP MM:
    • Customize the SAP MM module to meet specific client requirements.
  • Lead Projects
  • Testing and Training:
    • Perform system testing to ensure the SAP MM module functions as expected.
    • Provide training to end users on how to effectively use the module.
  • Support and Maintenance:
    • Offer ongoing support to clients for the SAP MM module.
    • Troubleshoot issues, provide guidance on best practices, and implement fixes and enhancements.
  • Integration with Other SAP Modules:
    • Collaborate with other SAP consultants to ensure seamless integration with modules such as FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling).
  • Documentation:
    • Create comprehensive documentation for the SAP MM module, including user manuals, process flows, and system configurations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Regularly review the SAP MM module to identify areas for enhancement.
    • Work with clients to implement changes that improve their business processes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or similar degree
  • 3-5 years of IT experience
  • Previous SAP MM (Materials Management) in ECC or S/4
  • Strong Soft Skills that will be used in front of our business leadership
  • Able to lead projects, design process, support and configure SAP MM functions to meet business requirements

Desired Qualifications:

  • SAP Asset Manager
  • Promethous Planning/Scheduling and Mobile Rounds
  • SAP ECC to S/4 implementation
