DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:  Primary Duties & Responsibilities  * Generate a user Graphical Interface Environment (GUI) that controls various test equipment and devices.  * Generate test scripts that read/write commands to various test equipment and record the results in formatted csv output files.  * Provide weekly progress reports on the project development and highlight any challenges or difficulties achieving the end goal.

Education & Experience  * EE or CE major with familiarity with Python coding and test environments

Skills  * Ability to read and write code using Python programming.  * Ability to setup a Hardware environment utilizing Python codes to control various devices.  * Familiarity with RS232, GPIB and I2C interfaces.  * Familiarity with Visual Studio is highly recommended.

Working Conditions  * Ideal candidate can work remotely most of the time, but it is highly recommended that he/she make several onsite visits at the start of the project to the test lab in Pittsburgh PA, in order to become familiar with the project and tasks required in a timely manner.
