Job Summary:

Responsible for being the first point of contact to the business office over the phone and in person, to help, employees, patients and vendors.

Customer services:

Provides exceptional customer service with an upbeat and friendly attitude. Answering and referring inquires within scope of business services.

Telephone:

Answers telephone, processes call, and document appropriately, returns all messages in a timely manner

Maintains communication between administrative staff, and/or patient/families. Handles all incoming faxes.

Scans and uploads faxes that pertain to patients into their chart.

Environmental Services:

Contributes to the overall cleanliness and appearance of personal work space and department. Monitors supply levels and request when needed.

Maintains all equipment, evaluates all equipment for damage or maintenance needs and reports when needed.

Job Requirements:

Responsible for greeting patients, answering the phone, and collecting payments. You will also be handling the incoming faxes and distribute them to the correct people.

Greeting and attending to patients in person and over the phone. Make appropriate notes on patient's accounts as needed.

Answering all phone calls a professional courteous manner. Processing payment for patients.

Processing and correcting patient information in the computer system. Makes deposits and balances the cash drawer.

Clean incoming faxes and distributing them appropriately.

Greeting and directing all vendors in person to include, JSMC staff, Post office, Shred it, etc.

Ability to maintain accuracy while working on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under low to moderate supervision.

Dependable in both production and attendance. Good organization and time management skills.

Maintains confidentiality of all protected health information.
