VEGETABLE HARVESTERS AND FIELD WORKERS: JOB DOES NOT START UNTIL March 01, 2023 APPLICANT SHOULD RECEIVE A COPY OF THE JOB DESCRIPTION AND JOB REFERRAL BEFORE CALLING EMPLOYER CONTACT. All workers should be physically able to meet requirements and perform the work outlined in the contract for the entire period of time from 03/01/2023 to 12/19/2023. Workers will perform a variety of tasks in varying temperatures from 35 to 100 degrees and light rain. Employees must be able to frequently lift weights ranging from 20 to 100 pounds. Workers will harvest crops according to size, color and shape as directed by supervisor. Crops to be harvested are Tomatoes, Corn, Cucumbers, Pumpkins, Peppers, Watermelons and Cantaloupes. In addition, the harvesting of hay and straw crops will be performed. Workers will also help plant and maintain fruit trees. The confirmed adverse effect wage rate for the area of employment is \$14.26 per hour for 2023. Wages will be paid weekly. The employer guarantees to offer at least 3/4 of the hours listed in the contract. Workers compensation will be provided. The employer must provide free housing and three meals a day or furnish free convenient cooking facilities to all workers who are not able to return to their residence the same day. If the employer elects to provide meals, a maximum of \$14.00 per may be charged to the employee. The employer will provide the necessary tools supplies and equipment at no cost to the worker. Workers may be required to take random drug and/or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. May be required to submit a criminal background check, at no cost to the worker. Felony convictions that employer reasonably believes, consistent with current law, will impair the safety and living conditions of other workers or other individuals on the farm will result in immediate termination.
