Adecco US, Inc. Schneider Electric Mechanical Assembly in Hopkins, South Carolina

Olsten Staffing is currently assisting Schneider Electric in Hopkins, SC with their need for Mechanical Assembler. These are contract to hire positions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs mechanical assembly and sub-assembly operations as required, you may be required to work in any areas as needed.

  • Must be able to read and follow schematics and blue prints

  • Much of activity includes holding bus bars overhead while inserting hardware.

  • Must be able to safely operate drill press, band saw, grinders, cutters, and any other required tool needed to perform non- standard installations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mechanical Assembly experience of at least 1 year

  • Position requires lifting and holding in place assembly parts weighting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly over work period.

  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, blueprints, material lists, and other source material.

  • HS Diploma or equivalent is required and must be supplied.

  • Ability to work utilizing basic PC skills.

  • Must be able to stand for shift duration and lift 35 lbs. on a continuous basis.

Available Shifts:

1st Shift: 5am to 3:30pm Monday - Thursday

2nd Shift: 3:15pm to 1:45am Monday - Thursday (2nd shift)

Weekend Shift: 5am to 5:30pm Friday - Sunday (Weekend Only Shift)

Pay Details: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour
