Semiconductor Components Industries, LLC Engineer, Process Engineering (EPE-MP) in Hopewell Junction, New York

Develop Reactive Ion Etch (“RIE”) processes for new technologies, and work on the transfer of those technologies to high-volume manufacturing. Ensure process controls are in place and out of control plan procedures are documented. Respond to excursions, identify points of cause and countermeasures to prevent future events. Summarize and present data sets for technical and nontechnical audiences. Provide yield and Continuous Improvement activities related to the RIE processes and equipment. Engage in cost reduction actions while maintaining process quality. Perform qualification and sustaining of existing RIE tools. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Textile Technology, or related field, and 2 years of related experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree and 1 year of related experience in lieu of BS+2.
