Overview: We are seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our aerospace engine manufacturing team. This role is critical in supporting the a Blisk product line by developing detailed manufacturing procedures and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize operation planning and manufacturing procedures using company-specific software.

  • Interface effectively with operations team members across all levels to coordinate manufacturing and quality engineering efforts.

  • Compile information and create content while performing quality system integration tasks.

  • Produce manufacturing planning packages independently and efficiently, following comprehensive training on proprietary software and quality system standards.

  • Monitor and report key performance metrics, including planning quality yield (First Time Yield ratio of rejected to accepted planning packages) and turnaround time.

Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience within manufacturing planning, preferably in aerospace parts manufacturing.

  • Strong ability to read, write, and support the execution of manufacturing planning packages.

  • Proficient use of standard software tools for the creation of production-compliant planning.

  • Ability to be a self-starter with potential for technical leadership and guidance

  • Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to successfully communicate & collaborate with the shop floor and engineering departments

  • Legal authorization to work in the US: Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship or Green Card is required

Desired skills:

  • Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering Degree

  • Six Sigma or equivalent Quality training

  • Experience with GE Aerospace parts and manufacturing

Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $30.00-35.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
