Information about the intern assignment starting September 2024

Estimated length of intern period (>5 months): 6 months

The assignment is focus on improving a process in the finance controlling area and supporting the entity controller with reporting and month end activities and external audit.

During the assignment, the intern receives mentoring and coaching and the opportunity to be part of a truly global organization which helps people live more fully with life-changing health technologies and products.

What you will do:

  • Supporting the entity controller with CBS reporting for the commercial affiliates and maintain the overall dashboard for timely CBS reporting.

  • Ongoing support to entity controller to the controlling month end close activities.

  • Assist the entity controller in preparation of the Annual Reports for the commercial affiliates and follow up external and internal audit questions.

  • Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Education level: 3rd of 4th year HBO/masters

  • Preferred education or background: Accountancy/ Controlling/ Financial Management

  • Computer acumen (Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL)

  • Ideally ERP systems basic knowledge (learnt at school or other internship, preferable SAP)

  • Fluent in English (both speaking and writing)

  • Team worker, attention to details and result driven.

  • Good communication skills and nice personality
