The Project Manager plans, organizes, and manages scope, schedule, and costs of projects. They foster positive Client relationships and directly interact with clients to negotiate contract terms, define scope, and maintain consistent communication. Project Manager coordinates with the client, subconsultants, and project team. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:•Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience as a project manager, construction manager, designer, or engineer, with large complex projects•3-5 years of project management experience•3-5 years of supervisory experience is desirable•Knowledge of project management principles, engineering, and construction practices is preferred•Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desirable•Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical branch preferred•Able to operate computers using word processing, spreadsheet, and civil engineering and architectural software•Able to read blueprints•Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to come up with timely and efficient solutions to complex problems and issues•Able to multitask multiple projects and teams with exceptional organizational skills•Maintain effective work relationships with agencies, contractors, and general public•Excellent oral and written communication skills•Positive service-oriented attitude toward the firm, our employees, and the clientsESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:•Coordination with client, subconsultants, and internal team•Foster positive client relationships•Directly interact with clients to negotiate contract terms, define scope, and maintain consistent communication•Plan, organize, direct, and manage project team activities•Set goals and evaluate staff performance.
