Job Summary Nurse Aides/Certified Caregiver at Always Best Care Senior Services – Oahu provide services to elderly patients in their home or other residential facility. The primary goal is to maintain the safety, comfort, and well-being of each patient, while providing daily activities and medical support. Working with a team-oriented approach, Nurse Aides/Certified Caregiver will be expected to provide excellent customer service and be able to respond to emergencies as needed. Compensation & Benefits Nurse Aides/Certified Caregiver at Always Best Care Senior Services – Oahu will receive a competitive salary of $18 - $22 per hour, paid weekly. Additional benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, and other benefits as applicable.   Scheduling Options : Flexible scheduling Choose your own shifts Recurring shifts, Part-time, Full-time and On-call positions Workplace Selection: Multiple facilities to choose from, select a workplace/ Clients that suit your preferences Responsibilities • Deliver special services that follow the patient's care plan • Assist elderly patients with daily activities such as eating, dressing, grooming, and bathing • Monitor and document patient's health and make changes to the care plan based on patient's health condition • Serve meals and help patients with feeding • Care for bedridden patients • Ensure safety of patient, provide companionship, and prevent loneliness • Escort patients to medical appointments and perform errands as needed • Keep patient's environment clean and safe • Monitor vital signs • Administer medications as directed • Provide emotional and physical support to patients • Other duties as assigned Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education a plus • Valid certification as Nurses’ Assistant, Nurse Aide, or Certified Caregiver • Clinical pathology and pharmacology experience preferred • Current or valid HI state driver's license with a safe driving record • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations, protocols, records, and office procedures • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively • Must be able to remain flexible, organized, and adhere to deadlines   Call for more details: 808-207-8558 To schedule an interview, click here: www.abcoahu.com EEOC Statement Always Best Care Senior Services – Oahu is an equal opportunity employer and is dedicated to a policy of non-discrimination and equal employment opportunity in every aspect of its personnel policies and practices.
