Description of the Role: Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team at our facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to seniors, assisting them with essential daily activities, and ensuring their overall well-being. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized and compassionate care to residents in our facility. This includes assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and other necessary activities for their well-being. In addition to attending to their physical needs, you will provide emotional support and engage them in recreational activities to enhance their quality of life. Your dedication will contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable living space for our residents. Responsibilities: * Assisting residents with essential daily activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting * Monitoring residents' physical and mental health, promptly reporting any changes to the supervising nurse for appropriate care * Providing emotional support to residents, actively engaging them in recreational activities and encouraging social interaction * Observing and accurately recording residents' vital signs, reporting any abnormalities to the nurse for further evaluation * Maintaining a clean and organized living space for residents, offering assistance with laundry as needed * Following all safety and infection control protocols to prioritize the well-being of residents * Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for each resident Requirements: * Hold a valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program * Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CNA in a healthcare or senior care facility * Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with residents, their families, and healthcare teams * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure optimal care coverage * Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds when assisting residents with mobility * Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening Benefits: By joining our team, you will not only make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors but also receive a competitive salary range of $20 - $22 per hour, paid weekly.
