Description

  • Develop and maintain demand and supply plans to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely delivery of products.

  • Analyze market trends and customer demand to forecast future demand and adjust plans accordingly.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.

  • Continuously improve planning processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Provide regular reports and analysis to management to support decision-making.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure competitiveness in the market.

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for specific business unit(s) / product line(s) in alignment with the Role and general_summary.

  • Analyze internal capacity and develop plans to align supply and demand to meet customer requirements.

  • Leverage insights from top_responsibilities to identify and make recommendations for forecast improvements.

  • Participate in demand review process and implement and operate forecasting software and supporting systems.

  • Monitor and report on performance metrics in areas of quality, cost, and delivery in support of the key supplier scorecards and business reviews.

  • Collaborate with marketing & sales in development of the consensus forecast.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in demand and supply planning or related field.

  • University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to utilize multiple statistical models to develop and drive consensus forecasts.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Ability to prepare monthly reports within specified time frames.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in evaluating and implementing solutions to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other planning software.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
