POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President, Calvin Klein Brand Environments is responsible for leading the Store Experience and Visual Experience in Asia Pacific, bringing a holistic best-in-class experience to our consumers.

The role will drive the strategic development, and implementation of innovative and immersive retail environments that reflect the essence of that Calvin Klein brand. You will collaborate closely with Global and Regional cross-functional teams to ensure that Calvin Klein's retail and wholesale spaces embody the brands’ unique identity and create exceptional consumer experiences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Strategic Leadership: Partner directly with Global Brand Environments team to adapt and execute a regional store strategy aligned with the PVH+ Plan and the brand vision. Provide leadership and direction to the regional & market store roll-out teams, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence. Coach, mentor and upskill the APAC Brand Environment Team.

  • Brand Experience: Seamlessly integrate the Global Store Concept & Visual Experience functions, transforming the APAC consumer experience with best-in-class setups, product storytelling, navigation, and consumer interaction; synchronizing the full funnel consumer journey to deepen consumer engagement, increase brand affinity and drive conversion.

  • Store Concept Rollout: Ensure that that the Global Store Design Principles are maintained to the brand vision and consistently executed across all APAC markets. Partner with Store Development Construction team to ensure that projects are synchronized and briefed in with a timely manner and work back to the Global Store Experience implementation process.

  • Procurement Strategy: Align all APAC procurement needs with the Global Procurement & Store Experience Team ensuring that implementation of the Global store concept items is consistent in both materials and quality with globally identified vendors.

  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Member of the Calvin Klein APAC Go-to-Market Team. Partner with internal and external stakeholders including Global and regional retail operations, marketing, merchandising, store experience, visual experience, and external design agencies, to ensure a seamless integration of store design initiatives with overall brand strategies and initiatives.

  • Budget and Timeline Management: Manage regional project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful and timely implementation of store design projects across APAC markets.

  • Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in retail design to drive continuous innovation and differentiation in Calvin Klein store environments, provide new trend feedback to Global.

  • Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of design and construction quality, ensuring that all stores reflect the brand’s premium image and meet operational requirements.

  • Operational Excellence: Deliver operational efficiencies through meticulous execution, on time delivery, and cost efficient. Establish. measure, and continuously improve on department KPI’s as well as those associated with the consumer journey.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: 10-15 years of store design, architecture, planning, and construction.

Education: BA/ BS required, preferably in Architecture, Creative Visual Arts

Skills:

  • Highly creative, with strong fashion and styling sensibility.

  • Possesses high aesthetics and a keen eye for high quality, high-end specialty store design.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, high-impact store design projects for a global fashion or retail brand.

  • Excellent understanding of retail operations, procurement processes, and the ability to balance creative vision with practical considerations.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent organizational skills including scheduling and budget management.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent software knowledge of:

  • Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Acrobat)

  • Google SketchUp + Plugins a plus

  • AutoCAD a plus

  • Styling product for photography

  • MS Office including Outlook, Excel + PowerPoint.

  • 3D Store Design programs

EXPERIENCE:

  • 15+ years relevant experience and proven success in lifestyle businesses (e.g., fashion apparel, accessories, footwear, underwear, sports, beauty, etc.)

  • Preferably with international/global experience, with 5+ years within the APAC region, especially China.

  • Demonstrates past success/KPI’s through implementing business strategies with creative solutions.​
