Lucky Paws Pet Spa Inc Dog Groomer in Homer, Alaska

Lucky Paws Pet Spa Inc is seeking an experienced Dog Groomer to join our team! Trained and experienced pet groomers/stylists are encouraged to apply. We also provide Doggy Day Care services for our community a few days a week and are looking for a dog lover to spend the day pampering and treating our dog clients to playdates wit their furry friends.

  • Full-time groomer and doggy day caregiver position
  • Day shift - Tuesday through Saturday - 9 am - 5 pm
  • Seasonal bookings will vary
  • Up to 40-hours/week
  • Up to 8-hour shifts

Pay range - $12 - $20/hour depending on experience - PLUS tips!

Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic and dedicated dog groomer
  • Consistent in delivering high-quality grooming services
  • Precise attention to detail resulting in satisfied dog parents
  • Ability to interact with dogs in a calm, non-threatening manner
  • Efficiently manage grooming workload and schedule
  • Dog lovers who are dedicated to doing their best work
  • Prior professional in-person and phone customer service experience a plus!
  • Ability to lift dogs up to 100 lbs. with assistance

Duties may include washing, brushing, clipping and trimming coats, cutting nails, and cleaning ears.
