Hazen Paper Company Machine Operator Trainee (3rd Shift) in Holyoke, Massachusetts

We are currently seeking individuals with 1-5 years of experience in our Holyoke locations. This is an entry level position. Machine Operator Trainees will work along with Machine Operators as Utility Helpers. While performing the job of Utility Helper they will be trained to operate production machines. In the role of Utility Helper they will move materials, monitor quality and help with machine cleaning and changeovers. Coating and Laminating; Sheeting and Winding; and Metalizing. Applicant should have mechanical aptitude and the desire to move up into the role of Machine Operator. Applicant, at a minimum, must have a high school diploma or GED. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RESPONSIBILITIES: - Move materials to and from machine. - Load and unload materials from machine. - Help monitor production quality while machine is in operation. - Help operator with machine cleaning and changeovers. - Learn how to operate machine. - Continuously progress toward the job of Machine Operator. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ May be required to work overtime Must pass a physical and drug screen including marijuana.
