Description

TheDirect Support Professional (DSP)provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Seven unique men with their own sense of community live at the Mooney Hill residence. The house lies in a scenic area, neatly tucked away in the woods with a spacious yard and taste of nature. The folks who live there enjoy going outside when it’s nice out and playing sports, waving at all the cars who pass by. They are open to go on many different trips throughout the area and farther, but they all have their favorites as well! How much would you enjoy supporting these guys in achieving their maximum potentials and independence levels? A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

HOURS: 38 hours weekly Sunday 8a-10p, Monday thru Wednesday 2p-10p

Starting Salary: $18.44 - $20.29 per hour with additional shift differentials as applicable

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred

  • Acceptable NYS Driver's License

  • Computer skills
