JEFF BAKER REPAIR Mechanic - Auto & LD/MD Truck in HOLMEN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul automotive vehicles. Candidate must possess 5+ years of experience in completing auto/truck repairs. Be able to perform routine maintenance on autos, trucks and medium duty trucks. Must possess skills to diagnose & repair autos & light/medium duty trucks. Diagnostics & repairs will include, but are not limited to, engines, transmissions, brake systems, cooling systems, electrical systems, etc. in autos, pick-up trucks and medium duty vehicles. Person will be a team leader & help with daily work load organization. Inspect vehicles for damage and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Maintain cleanliness of work area. Overhaul or replace blowers, generators, distributors, starters, and pumps. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups. Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine cooling, and electrical systems. Repair, replace, and adjust brakes. Repair, replace, or adjust defective fuel injectors, carburetor parts, and gasoline/diesel filters. Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor. Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels. Tear down, repair, and rebuild faulty assemblies, such as power systems, steering systems, and linkages. Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers\' performance specifications. Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using equipment such as compression gauges & other diagnostic devices. Test electronic computer components in automobiles to ensure proper operation. Tune automobile engines to ensure proper and efficient functioning. Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas. Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices. Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes. Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors. Troubleshoot fuel, ignition, and emissions control systems, using electronic testing equipment. Repair, replace, or adjust defective fuel injectors, carburetor parts, and gasoline filters. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Individuals with 5 or more year\'s auto repair experience should apply immediately. - Should be able to follow direction, perform a variety of duties which often change. - Work within industry labor standards to perform routine maintenance and make repairs to engines, brakes, electrical systems and hydraulic systems. - Have a working knowledge of gas and diesel engines.
