Robert Half Software Developer: III (Senior)- in Holmdel, New Jersey

Description Robert Half is accepting inquiries for a Software Developer role on behalf of a client. Candidates for this position should keep in mind that they will be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company if chosen. This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Holmdel, New Jersey area.

How you will make an impact

  • Combine resources with Scrum team to contribute true work estimates

  • The primary function of this job is to maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems

  • Ensure clear and consistent interaction around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams

  • Continually conduct code-review and unite with other developers

  • Resolve and obtain production support Requirements - Less than one year of experience preferred

  • Comprehension of Oracle SQL

  • Previous experience working with Unix Environments

  • General familiarity with R Code

  • Proven knowledge of SQL

  • Foundational knowledge in scheduling

  • Good understanding of Snowflake

  • Hiring Processes experience highly desired

  • Practical knowledge of Onsite

  • Solid understanding of reporting

  • Well-founded grasp of Cloud Technologies

  • Quality experience with data warehousing

  • Budget Processes experience

  • Earlier work involving Informatica

  • Database experience

  • Skills in Dimensional

  • Wide ranging experience with Data Management

  • Experience with Unix Scripting

    • It is preferred for applicants to have familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database)

    • We are particularly looking for candidates with familiarity with scrum

    • You'll be a good fit for this position if you can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments

    • It is preferred for applicants to have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc.

    • You might be a good fit for this position if you are knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF

  • Prior work with API design

    • It is preferred for applicants to have experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
