Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team in Hollywood. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong bookkeeping skills and a commitment to accuracy to contribute to the financial success of our organization. The Bookkeeper will serve as a member of our Full-Time Engagement Professionals team and support multiple clients on bookkeeping projects and support throughout their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents in a timely manner.

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses as needed.

  • Monitor cash flow and assist in the management of petty cash funds.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Support year-end close activities and assist with audits as required.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required.

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
