This is a job for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician position with a company located in Holly Springs, MS.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist with the design, implementation and follow through of new engineering projects. Thorough knowledge of hand and power tools required. Thorough programming knowledge of PLCs: Allen Bradley required; Automation Direct preferred. Creating electrical schematics in CAD is required. Ability to construct (design and build) control systems / control panels required. Read blueprints and schematics. Implement permanent corrective measures to prevent recurrence of non-conformances. General computer skills required (Word, Excel). Ability to operate basic machine tools required. General machinery operation and function knowledge. Install, troubleshoot, repair pneumatic systems. Install, troubleshoot, repair electrical systems, includes soldering and wiring. Must be able to use standard electrical test equipment. ObMaintain good housekeeping practices and safe work habits. Performance and attendance must meet that of quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR POSITION: Related experience is required. High math skills and PLC programming required.Must read electrical schematics. Be able to use Laptop/Notebook computer for machine program diagnostics. Be able to diagnose problems with process machinery and repair the problem. Ability to build electrical and pneumatic circuits, with adherence to safety codes and practices. Able to work with minimal supervision. Be able to take verbal or written instruction.

PHYSICAL TRAITS: Standing, bending, and occasional lifting of 65 pounds.
