      Competitive Salary Range: The compensation for this position falls within the range of $50,000 to $65,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

     The Big Task 

Complete all preventive maintenance calls on HVAC systems installed by Rodenhiser. Educate customers on the status of their systems and any pertinent issues. 

  

Key Sub Tasks 

· Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems. 

· Know how to establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services. 

· Ask the right lifestyle questions to troubleshoot heating, cooling and plumbing system malfunctions.  

· Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans. 

· Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck. 

· Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.  

  

Desired Skills and Experience 

  • 1-3 years’ experience in the field. 

  • Capacity to perform preventive maintenance service on HVAC systems 10 years or newer. 

  • Competent at checking gas pressures, sub cool, super heat, combustion tests and static pressures. 

  • Current Apprenticeship card/license or formal trade schooling. 

  • Intimate knowledge and ability to use related trade tools/equipment. 

· Must have successful completion of trade related schooling or equivalent experience. 

· Must have current EPA universal certificate. 

· Knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing and gas codes and proper electrical and HVAC safety standards.
