Summary

Responsible for the maintenance, repair and rehabilitation of the CCF assigned property. Ensure assigned CCF property is operating in compliance with all agreements, current affordable housing program guidelines, and company procedures under general supervision of the Property Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:• Cut grass and trims weeds, bushes, trees etc.• Digs flower beds and plants flowers• Constructs decorative flower garden borders from wood• Waters plants and trees• Cleans external areas of buildings, including blowing debris from parking lot, washing down buildings and windows• Cleans internal areas of buildings, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, dusting etc• Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup• Maintains the alterations to, or maintenance, upkeep, or reconditioning of property as appropriate• Paints interior and exterior walls and trim• Responds to emergency calls and situations as required• Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete• Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses• Repairs or replaces building brick, stone, and concrete• Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings• Coordinates moving, inspections, dealing with tenant issues and related items.• Executes or delegates written work orders or verbal instructions from Property Supervisor• Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies• Works a rotating on-call status as directed by supervisor• Contacts utility companies to arrange for transfer of service for tenants• Purchases supplies and equipment for use on property

QUALIFICATIONS• 3 to 5-years property maintenance experience• Good communication skills• Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool, and painting experienceCOVID REQUIREMENTSCesar Chavez Foundation is designated as essential and has a COVID-19 vaccine requirement.
