Clarios, LLC Forklift Driver/Material Handler in HOLLAND, Ohio

 

 

Position:Forklift Operator/Material Handler

 

Pay:Starting wage $19.74/hr , not including shift premium.

 

Shifts:

  • 2nd Shift - 3:00 P.M. to 11:30 P.M.

  • 3rd Shift - 11:00 P.M. to 7:30 A.M.

Working 19 days straight with 2 days off

What You Will Do

 

Forklift Operators are responsible for supplying production lines with necessary materials, removing goods from production lines as necessary to support production needs, load and/or unload semi-trailers, wrapping and/or storing materials, utilizing partial pallets and the first in first out (FIFO) inventory management method. All inventory must be accurately managed using the plants inventory management system (BES), including all movement of product.

How You Will Do It

  • As a Material Handler you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials at the lines.

  • The Material Handler is responsible for staging each production line with the proper materials.

  • Verify quantities received and perform incoming inspections.

  • Load finished products on trucks that are ready to be shipped to customers.

  • Responsible for moving finished products, raw materials, and part to different locations in the plant.

  • Perform daily production cycle counts.

     

     

What We Look For

  • 1+ year of forklift experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Comfortable working 12-hour days as needed.

  • Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

  • Pass forklift certification.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Basic math, reading and writing skills.

  • Must be able to wear required PPE.

Our Toledo, Ohio fully integrated plant manufactures batteries used in

automotive and marine applications. This is our largest plant at Clarios. We

opened our facility in 1981 and now employ more than 610 people and operate

six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give
