Opportunity Group, Inc. Controls Design Engineer in Holland, Michigan

Looking for a Controls Engineer / Technician with AutoCAD Electrical experience. Schematic Controls Design experience is needed for this position. This Controls Engineer / Designer will also modify, troubleshoot and program PLC's. Will also integrate custom software into existing machines. Responsibilities of the Controls Technician:

  • Layout and design electrical schematics, panels and PLC controls
  • Troubleshoot and modify Allen Bradley and / or Siemens PLC's and HMIs
  • Integrate, troubleshoot and modify robotic automation systems
  • Program Allen Bradley and Siemens controls

Desired requirements of the Controls Technician:

  • CAD experience or training
  • Able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
  • Familiar with electrical codes and standards
  • Troubleshooting and modifying PLC's and HMIs
  • Wiring machines is a plus
  • Pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus
  • Robotics programming and integration is a plus
  • Able to travel 15%
  • Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card
