Position Summary: The candidate will use their skills and experience to improve operator output, reduce WIP levels, improve quality, and reduce manufacturing costs. The candidate will also be able to conduct research to find and implement the latest apparel manufacturing technologies into the production lines to reduce cost and improve quality.

Position Description:
Multiple years floor management
Working knowledge of sewing equipment
Experience in piece rate configuration
Previous factory start up experience
Working knowledge of D365, SAP, ERP system
Position reports to the VP of Manufacturing
Monitor production levels of each operation and implement process changes to increase operator efficiencies.
Monitor daily production and identify those areas that are creating bottlenecks and come up with solutions to the problems.
Extract data from the production control program to share with plant management on a daily basis.
Perform data entry and maintain the production control system so accurate daily/weekly/monthly reports on production can be shared and analyzed with plant management.
Help conduct time studies and set manufacturing production rates
Position reports to the VP of Manufacturing
Additional duties may vary

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Apparel Manufacturing, 5 years (Required)
ISO 9001
TSS - modular manufacturing
Piece rate production programs
Knowledge of OSHA laws
Troubleshooter/ Problem Solver

Job Requirements:
Background in apparel manufacturing processes through formal education and/or on the job training. Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
Work will be in a mix of office and on sewing floor. Travel to additional manufacturing locations will be required.

Essential Functions/Physical Demands:
Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Frequent standing and walking.
Gross Mobility: Occasional climbing, or crawling. Frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling.
Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. frequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking.
