CRM Manager

Location: Hoboken, NJ

The Yankee Candle CRM Manager will help lead strategy across omni-channel campaigns in the e-mail, SMS and direct mail space to drive consumer retention and increase lifetime value. The ideal candidate is analytically driven and will drive customer contact frequency strategy, segmentation, suppressions, and cross campaign optimizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-channel nurture/retention campaigns to drive frequency, recency, and spend.

  • Partner with Senior Manager to develop a holistic omni-channel messaging strategy that optimizes customers’ path to purchase journey and drives lifetime value and loyalty.

  • Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Retail, Martech and Analytical teams. Oversee e-mail, SMS and print calendars and monitor segmentation and suppression schedules.

  • Methodically test and identify best performing content & messages for each audience across e-mail, SMS and direct mail.

  • Collaborate and develop relationships with internal Yankee Candle teams (merchandising, operations, creative, analytics etc.), and partner agencies to understand the feasibility of cross-channel recommendations/plans.

  • Identify key data points and measurements to show impact of new marketing initiatives.

  • Subject matter expert in omni direct marketing, particularly in the areas of e-mail marketing, SMS and direct mail.

  • Lead and deliver tactical execution of omni-channel marketing plans; Partner with both internal and external teams to create data-driven personalized targeting.

  • Continually monitor current marketing trends, technology solutions, and competitive strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • 5-7+ years of experience in data driven targeting – specifically e-mail/SMS/direct mail/ online media/offline media.

  • Proven experience with CRM retention, and loyalty.

  • Highly analytical with hands-on skills using data and research to drive decisions.

  • Proficiency in Excel and research tools.

  • Experience translating data analysis into actionable marketing recommendations.

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics and PBI

  • Experience in campaign build platforms –Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Postie, Movable Ink, SAS, UNICA, Listrak, RED POINT,etc.

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple lines of business.

  • Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and workstreams while effectively managing changing priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrated problem-solving skills; follow-up skills.
