LEGO's People, Operations & Development (PO&D) organisation includes 4 main areas: Talent, Reward & Insights, Diversity & Inclusion and Partnering & Operations function.

Partnering & Operations organization covers HR business partnering as well as local operations including employee relations, benefits, policies and execution. The partnering organization is responsible for developing and deploying the people & culture agenda in line with The LEGO Group strategic direction. The operations organization serves as a backbone to enable the partners and the business in providing relevant solutions on people processes respecting geographical and site nuances.

Partnering & Operations is one of the most critical areas within the PO&D function globally.

T his role will be working temporarily at LEGO temporary office in District 1, HCMC and be relocated to Binh Duong in 2024

Core Responsibilities:

This position provides people partnering to key leaders in the future leadership team of LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam:

  • Ensure strong deployment and impact of critical HR processes such as performance management, headcount governance, talent management and development, and continuous assessment of the effectiveness of each in a rapidly changing retail landscape.

  • Take the role of a trusted coach and sparring partner for people leaders to drive performance, and team effectiveness and provide a safe space for leaders (and leadership teams) to learn & grow so that they can unleash the full potential of the company.

  • As an exceptional collaborator seamlessly operates within and across global functions and business areas to get things done. Prioritizes business challenges according to impact and approaches with a growth mindset: Understand, interpret, and use data to solve problems and drive improvement initiatives to allow the organization to deliver on its strategy.

  • Act as a partner with function to support the smooth scaling of our production teams incl staff planning, onboarding and training.

  • Other projects as designated by People Leader.

Play your part in our team's success:

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a HR or business-related field or equivalent working experience.

  • 3+ years of experience with HR business partnering from a manufacturing environment. Past experience from scaling of manufacturing organisation is an advantage is preferred.

  • 5+ years’ experience as generalist in international, matrixed organization, ideally in the manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Strong partner management skills evidenced through strong written and verbal communication ability, managing partners at all levels of the organisation.

  • Open-minded, structured, and a strong collaborative approach

  • Business understanding and some experience with project work and project tools.

  • Ability to convert data into insights in a way that informs proposals and influences decisions in people matter within the context of solving business challenges.

  • Proven track record of handling multiple priorities and deadlines across a number of partners in a rapidly changing and increasingly complex business and retail environment.

  • Experience in organization effectiveness as set up from the beginning.

  • Proficient in both English and Vietnamese.
