The Arc of the South Shore Residential Counselor in Hingham, Massachusetts

Position: RESIDENTIAL COUNSELORS (Direct Support Professionals) Sign on bonus \$3,500 for Full Time (30-40 hours), and \$1,750 for Part Time (20-29 hours) positions. The bonus will be paid out in two increments! WE HAVE SEVERAL OPEN POSITIONS AT OUR LOCATION IN THE SOUTH SHORE AREA. Work hands-on with adults with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include providing direct care and support to ensure resident health & safety, developing & implementing ISP goals & recreational & community supports. Experience: 1 year of experience in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. Requirements: -Must be 18 years old -High School Diploma, HiSET, GED, or equivalent -1st Aid, CPR certification required. (training can be provided through our agency). -MAP certified a plus! -Valid driver license required -Acceptable Driver Record required -Acceptable CORI, Fingerprinting and Abuse Registry background check will be required. -Reliability a must -Ability to physically assist/lift/transfer individuals safely -Effective interpersonal communication skills -Professional demeanor required -Ability to work as part of a team required We follow all State and CDC COVID-19 safety guidelines.
