About Us: The Cooperative Services Center (CSC) supports shared services for local cooperatives including Wake and Piedmont Electric.Piedmont and Wake Electric are electric distribution cooperatives owned and controlled by thousands of people just like youthe consumer-members. Cooperatives provide reliable, safe, and affordable energy and related services.
Summary:Assists with maintaining computer systems and networks. Provides support to ensure the efficient and secure operations of the IT infrastructure.
Principal Duties
- Assist withthe setup and ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of network hardware and software, computer hardware and software, phones, and tablets.
- Assist in the implementation of IT projects.
- Work with hardware and software vendor support to resolve problems.
- Collaborate with senior administrators to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing security policies and protocols.
- Assist in setting up and configuring user accounts, email, and access permissions.
- Monitor system logs for security breaches and unauthorized access.
Other duties as assigned.
