Intel Subfab Process Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
You will be a member of the 300mm C4 Organization at Aloha Fab Operations (AFO) in the Subfab Module that supports Fab process tools.
Primary responsibilities will be as a system owner in Life Safety Systems (LSS) with secondary ownership responsibilities in Vacuum Systems and Abatement (VSE) and construction area coordination. You will also need to provide sustaining coverage for other AFO Subfab Groups: BCD (Bulk Chemical Delivery), and GSE (Gas Systems Engineering).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing into the first point of contact for HPM (Hazardous Production Material) LSS (Life Safety Systems) for the Aloha site.
Delivering the following key metrics: safety, quality, availability, and cost for your equipment
Installation and qualification of module tools/equipment
Training system documentation, development, and maintenance for your module.
Coordination and integration with other technical disciplines both within and exterior to the subfab.
Ownership of all aspects of sustaining and improvement for your toolset/equipment, which includes:
Daily tracking of toolset and process health performance.
Prompt response to tool trends by developing robust recovery plans.
Leading troubleshooting activities including appropriate escalations.
Interacting with cross functional departments to prioritize improvement projects for safety, yield, and cost and establishing priorities for your Area and effectively communicating priorities and direction to your team.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related STEM fields.
3+ months of experience with Cimplicity, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), or SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition).
Experience with instrumentation and Process Control (ICP).
Experience with control systems such as , FIOPs (Field Input Output Package), or Automation.
Experience as a Controls Engineer.
