Principal Service Solutions is hiring Semiconductor Field Service Equipment Engineers to work on semiconductor equipment. We are searching for detail-oriented people with electro-mechanical experience/aptitude and a strong work ethic who are looking for an opportunity to start a career that offers unlimited opportunities for growth and career progression.

Pay Rate: $28/hr+ DOE

Shift and Schedule:

  • Must be open to any Schedule Days and Nights: 12-hour compressed shift working Nights possibility after training (must be open to night shift)

  • Night Shift: Start Time: 7:00 PM to 7/7:30 AM

  • Each shift is 12 hours per day - alternating 3 working days one week and 4 working days the next week.

    Job Description:

  • Perform equipment pre-installations and setups, corrective maintenance, equipment conversions, and upgrades

  •  Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic and mechanical problems

  • Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals during the installation, debugging, and repair of equipment

  • Follow all established cleanroom cleanliness requirements, procedures, and protocols

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of semiconductors experience must-have electronics and vacuum experience, PVD/CVD experience preferred.

  • Ability to effectively use hand tools, meters, scopes, and other specialized equipment

  • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints and diagnose /troubleshoot electromechanical devices

  • Ability to lift, pull, and push objects weighing up to 50lbs

  • Ability to work in cleanroom attire and sit or stand for a prolonged period

  • Ability to travel a must - Travel expenses will be paid when traveling to other customer locations/fabs, when not assigned to an individual customer site

  • Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain all necessary travel documents/passport

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Products and general computer skills

    Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, kneel, and bend; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear

    Educational Requirements:

  • A minimum of AS degree in an engineering discipline is required (related engineering disciplines: electronics, electrical, mechanical, and chemical).

  • Military education combined with related experience may be substituted for academic education

  • Troubleshooting and component board-level repair are a plus.

  • Precision mechanical repair is a plus.
